What is Miniature MarketPlace?
Think of Miniature MarketPlace as driving over to your local shopping mall (but, without the driving part). Just as in your local shopping mall, some of the larger stores (Anchor Stores) have their own promotions, applicable only to that particular store. Other promotions, sponsored by the mall itself, may (or may not) apply to all stores within the mall.
Miniature MarketPlace works much the same way . . .
Anchor Stores are independent websites, and do not participate in Mall programs, such as coupons, and gift certificates purchased at Miniature MarketPlace. However, Anchor Stores do offer miniaturists one location (Miniature MarketPlace), from which all of their miniature needs may be met without having to wade through Search Engines to find reputable miniature websites.
Boutique Stores, on the other hand, offer the miniaturist many unique products (often only found at trade shows, and often only at Miniature MarketPlace), and participate in Mall promotions and programs. Without Miniature MarketPlace, these Boutique Stores may not be able to absorb the cost of such programs; nor would the customer benefit from lower pricing, etc.
KIOSKS are miniature stores with limited selections (normally 10 or less), yet quality products. All Kiosks participate in Miniature MarketPlace services and promotions; such as, Gift Certificates, Membership Coupons, Wish Lists, returns, exchanges; and,replacements. Kiosk products are maintained at Miniature MarketPlace facilities; and, as with Boutiques, all Kiosk sales are included in our one low-rate shipping charge.
In short, Miniature MarketPlace offers a win-win situation for everyone!
